at The Record Plant, here in NYC. How's that for a million degrees of separation?
By the way, if anyone knows how much Beatles autographs go for let me know!

Another Track of the Day at garageband.com! Hard Bargain's NEW original tune IT'S MY TIME was selected Blues Track-of-the-Day , featured on 11/22/02! Hard Bargain's 7th! In fact of 7 tracks submitted, all have been chosen. The 7 songs are ALL on the 11-song CD! Hard Bargain's version of thebassguy's original, MORE BLUES THAN I CAN USE featured TRACK OF THE DAY on 9/28/02! Back in 2000 thebassguy's own version of the song was chosen. I guess it's a good song! Hard Bargain's version of ROOM 244 was selected Blues Track-of-the-Day on 1/11/02! Hard Bargain's 5th! Hard Bargain's remake of the Bobby Bland tune I Wouldn't Treat A Dog was selected Blues Track-of-the-Day on 11/27/01! It Shoulda Been Me recorded in '96 by the Juke House Kings was chosen by users at the site to be Track of the Day on 11/20/01. HARD BARGAIN's remake of Tramp was featured 11/8/01 as Blues Track-of-the-Day! A GREAT remake....and our signature track on garageband.com The Juke House Kings' version of the classic Ray Charles tune, I Got a Woman, was Track-of-the-Day on 10/9/01 at garageband.com, the sixth TOD for thebassguy and the second for JHK! Hard Bargain's remake of Pretty Woman Blues, was featured on 7/6 as Track of the Day in their Blues category. This is the FIFTH time a song featuring thebassguy has been featured since December 2000 ! Hard Bargain's rendition of that ol' blues chestnut Worried Life Blues was featured on Monday 2/26.For months, the song has been in the Top 20, and as of 6/13, it was #5 in the blues category,out of thousands of blues recordings submitted! In March, the song was rated # 48 overall (out of over 40,000!) based on reviews from listeners. Unfortunately, because the song was a remake, it has been removed from garageband.com, but only after countless reviews and many months on the featured track list. The mp3 file is still available at the Hard Bargain webpage. On Sunday 2/18 garageband.com featured as TRACK-OF-THE-DAY the JUKE HOUSE KINGS recording of "Call Me Willy", recorded back in early '95. On Jan. 13, the song, "Funky Train," an original Big Carl recording was Track of the Day in the Folk/Soul/R&B section. On Christmas Eve Day 2000, thebassguy's original song "More Blues Than I Can Use" was also featured as Track of the Day. Had quite a run in the charts too for a while! NOT TOO SHABBY, eh??
